I wanted to show you a bit about why we created our summertime reading program.
For me, it was due to the fact that of my students.
For many years of teaching in my personal learning center, parents would bring their kids to me that were behind in reading and spelling.

Sometimes they were just a little bit behind, sometimes they were way behind, and often they were at grade level and simply wished to advance much faster.
Sometimes this was since the trainees had finding out troubles like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was simply since the teachers did not teach all of the particular abilities needed to read.

The program does take some participation from a moms and dad for grades K-2, but for grades 3-8, many kids can do most activities in the program on their own.
